Kellie Martin. Martin is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. Her most well-known role is for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. In addition, she is well-known as the lead in"The Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin began her acting career when she was seven. Her aunt, who served as the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children, was a big help in landing her an unimportant role in the TV show Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University in 1982, Martin decided to pursue her acting career more than just a hobby. She landed significant roles on television as well as on the big screen. Martin, who is an actress in addition to a gifted dancer and photographer, has been in the industry for over twenty years. Mother of two daughters Martin is the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness of the disease every day since the death of her sister at the age of 19.
